2011 Maryland Horse and Pony Show

The two questions I get asked the most about Magee are "Holy Cow, how big is he?" and "What on earth does his name, Nobska Point, mean?" He last measured at 17.2 and Nobska Point is the beautiful beach on Cape Cod where I grew up. He is a Hanovarian/Tb cross and was born in 2003. Sarah, our BRM barn manager, has taught him to bow and he is always proud to show off for a mint or an orange.

Chris saw Magee once as a three-year old and when I was looking for a horse a year later, in 2007, he said I needed to go look at him. I was SO excited to be actually able to buy a horse but TERRIBLY nervous about making such a HUGE decision. Chris couldn't come with me to North Carolina to see him but called me on my drive home. It was the quintessential Chris Wynne conversation. Chris: "So, what do you think?" Me: "I liked him a lot! He's the coolest horse I've ever ridden!"  Chris: "Great! I'll make the call."  Click. That's how I came to buy the most amazing horse I could ever hope to own. I am so grateful to Chris and his uncanny ability to remember every horse he sees and matching a rider with a horse

Magee patiently totes me around the 3'3" Amateur Owner division and we have a blast.
