Holly Shearin is a freshman at Norfolk Academy, where she is on the lacrosse team. Holly has been riding for 13 years, 7 of which have been with Chris. Her 6 year old Welsh/Holsteiner mix large pony, Langhorne, was purchased from Chris 2 years ago. Holly and Langhorne (better known as "Eddie") currently compete in Large Green Pony, but the pair were the 2009 VHSA high point winners for Children's Pony.
Holly's most familiar 'Chris phrases' are "I know I sound like a broken record"...and "Morning Sunshine!". Holly thinks the funniest thing about Chris is that he is known to wear 'jorts' (jean shorts). Holly credits Chris for teaching her "everything" she knows about riding. She's looking forward for another great year with "Eddie" in Green Pony.
